Selected Works

Howard Fox was born in 1955, in Toronto, Canada, and made Aliyah to Israel in 1992. He now works and lives in Pardes Hana/Karkur, Israel.

Fox paints what he calls “Fiction”, his paintings are not hyper realism nor realism due to the fact that they emanate from his imagination, and are not reproduced from reality in most cases.
He does some realism, focusing on subjects that depict what he finds both interesting and somewhat bizarre in his surroundings.

The artist works in oil on canvas, in a process that relies on layering of colors.
Fox considers himself the “Gardner in the Garden of Eden” tossing seeds in all directions and seeing what grows.
