Selected Works

Shlomi Nissim was born in 1972 in Israel.

Nissim is a photographer who’s love for nature has followed him since he remembered himself, with its magical force, powerful predators, untouched jungles and captivating stories and fairy tales such as Mowgly and Tarzan.

Photos and films of war between the white man and native american Indians fascinated him as a child but it was also painful for him seeing the victory of modernization over nature. This is the very basis of his art today. While he stays faithful to the beauty and aesthetics of art and inspired by paintings and cinema, his works are a reflection of his despair of man’s conquest over nature.

All of his works are photography media in limited editions.
